I need some assistance with editing. Can you help me?

Yes, of course. There are many different ways to edit a manuscript: for structure and style, for grammar and punctuation. Arrange for a meeting. We'll look through your materials and provide you with estimates for editorial, printing, and production costs. The fee of $396 applies.

I can put it all on a computer, but the cover seems too hard to do. Will you design it for me?

Yes. Cover layouts cost $440, $660 or $880, depending on complexity, plus $22 per photo.

Will you give me a ballpark idea of what it will cost to self-publish?

Ballparks come in all shapes and sizes. Do you want a ballpark as big as the Melbourne Cricket Ground? Or one not quite so large… In other words, how long is a piece of string? There are some indicative prices on our website.

There is a fee of $396 for all meetings to discuss your book. The fee is rebatable off the print price, provided you proceed within 3 months. We can help you by phone, by mail, or in person. Please make an appointment first.

What to bring to a meeting

• The typescript, a printed out manuscript or wordprocessed pages on A4 paper, single sided
• Computer disks and the names of the software used
• Any books you want your book to look like
• A list of questions you want answered
• The $396 fee by cheque, cash or credit card
