Anne Harris
Historian Anne Harris is the author of three books: Abington, Lalor of Gubberamunda, and reprinted in 2006 Old Stations on the Gwydir.
Anne Harris was born Anne Forster and grew up at Abington, one of the old stations of "Old Stations on the Gwydir". She was educated by a governess, at New England Girls School and at Sydney University and after graduating worked as a psychologist at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children and then in private practice.
She married Richard Lalor Harris, a general physician who practised in Sydney, and they had three sons.
