Happy 80th Birthday to Joan Kersey, who will launch her memoirs this week.
When I turn 80, I'll have a big party on a boat on the harbour, try to gather far-flung friends together, and launch my memoirs. Michael also wants to be in it. It's funny living when your days are necessarily numbered. I have decided to make every day, every hour, every minute count. After that, who knows? And I think to myself, who was it who said:
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
And some roads rough and pathways steep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
It was John Lennon who wrote, ‘Life is what happens to you, when you're busy making other plans.' It sure did for me.
