Maciek Zurawel

Maciek Piotr Zurawel was born in Poland in 1944, and with his family, were refugees in Austria. He came to Australia in 1981 and became a citizen in 1984.

He has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and lives in South Australia.

His romance with bridge, the most fascinating card game in the world, started very early, when he was 12 years of age, and invited to play his first rubber at the family table. His first system was Culbertson, then on to American Standard, Acol, Polish Club, Forcing Pass and Precision Club.
